Mono-satiated fat or mono-satiated fatty acid, also known as abbreviation m andu, is a type of fatty acid that has a double bond in its fatty acid chain and the rest of the carbons are all connected to each other by a single bond. These substances are liquid at room temperature and convert to solid or semi-solid at refrigerator temperature. Palmitolacid and first acid are two examples of this class of fatty acids.
