( Syria ) The Syrian national football team (SYR) represents Syrian football in international competitions. The team is a collection of the best football players in the country and operates under the supervision of the Syrian Football Federation.Syria has never been able to reach the final round of the FIFA World Cup. Syria once went to the World Cup Playoffs (2018) but lost to Australia and failed to qualify for the World Cup.
