The Millennium Development Goals () are actually eight common objectives agreed at the UN in 2000 on yen. These goals should have been achieved by 2015. In 2016 the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) replaced the Millennium Development Goals. All 191 UN member states and at least 22 international entities pledged to help achieve the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
